Community Outreach/ How We Love

There are people in our community and throughout the world who need help. They are in pain and are suffering and the church is called to reach out to them. Instead of throwing money at these problems, we roll up our sleeves and let God lead us to be a part of the reconciliation and healing process.

The Gathering at Scott Memorial serves our community on a weekly basis.  We are always looking for volunteers.  Choose how you would like to serve and sign-up today!  Serving together is also a great way to meet others and develop long lasting friendships!

Hunger Warriors

Our volunteers fight to keep food insecurity and hunger at bay in our community. We need volunteers from 10 am to 7 p.m. each Wednesday. We are one of the largest and only fresh food pantries in the area open to the public after working hours. ClICK HERE to find out more about roles for volunteers.

Judeo-Christian Outreach Center (JCOC)

Several times a year we make and serve  a meal to those experiencing homelessness

People In Need (PIN)

PIN ministers to those experiencing homelessness by helping to host Winter Shelter, where people in need of shelter sleep and eat for a week inside a church.

Open Table

Believing that relationships transform communities, this ministry journeys with a family for a year by surrounding them with persons to help achieve their own goals.

Cooke Elementary

We partner with a local elementary school to provide back to school supplies and angel tree gifts to families in need.
